CIRCULAR

It has been noticed by the Registrar-cum-First Appellate Authority that some Public Information Officers/Assistant Public Information Officers while responding to the RTI applications supply uncertified copies of information/documents to the applicants under the RTI Act, 2005.   Due to which the applicant(s) file first appeal before the First Appellate Authority, asking for certified copies of the same information which was already supplied by the concerned Public Information Officers/Assistant Public Information Officers, causing wastage of manpower/resources of the University. 

In view of the above, all the PIOs/APIOs are advised that while responding to the RTI Applications  they must provide only certified copies of the information/documents to the applicants.
